Our read
The Edge 3 is a lot of camera list for $99.99: 100 ft detection and flash claims, built-in memory, GPS and Moultrie’s on-demand photos. Its 2025 FCC grant shows a Quectel EG915Q-NA Cat 1bis modem and six LTE bands.
Two caveats. Every Moultrie cellular camera needs a paid plan, and the cheapest is $9.99 a month or $8.99 a month billed yearly; there is no free tier. And Moultrie’s “All 4 Major Networks” line isn’t backed by the band list on file, which has no Band 14 or Band 71.
We haven’t found an independent test of the Edge 3 itself. Its sibling, the Edge 3 Pro, won the cellular detection category in TrailCamPro’s 2026 shootout.
Bottom line: A sensible first cell cam if you’re already in the Moultrie app. Budget for $108 to $120 a year in plan fees.

Six LTE bands on the grant: 2, 4, 5, 12, 13 and 66. No Band 14 or Band 71. FCC grant 2AJQ6MMC-14202
There are three national US carriers today, and the grant doesn't list T-Mobile's 600 MHz band or AT&T's FirstNet band. It can still roam on shared bands like 2, 4, 12 and 66, but the slogan oversells it.

Probably a reused document template, not a different camera; the model number on the grant matches the Edge 3 SKU.
